There are many hill stations in Kerala which offers amazing scenic beauty as well as fresh air.
The major Hill resorts of Kerela are: Munnar, Ponmudi, Peerumedu, Nelliyampathy, , Peruvannamuzhi, Tusharagiri, Wayanad, Pythal Mala, Ezhimala, Ranipuram, Devikulam, Wagamon etc.
Munnar : Located at an altitute of 1600m above sea level Munnar is a gifted with natural beauty. Winding lanes, tea plantations, green hills creates breathtaking natural scenes in Munnar which makes it one of the best tourist destination in India.
Mattupetty, Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi, Pallivasal and Marayoor are the nearby tourist spots.

Ponmudi : A beautiful hill station located very near to capital city of Kerala – Trivandrum at an altitude of 1100m Ponmudi offers cool weather and attractive natural scenes.

Devikulam : Located 16km away from Munnar in Idukki district, Devikulam is filled with breathtaking beautiful scenery at an altitude of 1800m. The Devikulam Lake, also known as the Sita Devi Lake is a famous picnic spot in Devikulam. As per legend godess Sita Devi from Ramayana in Treta Yuga visited this place and took back in this lake.
Famous Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary at a distance of 50 km from Devikulam.
Peerumedu : A small hill station on the way to Thekkady and Kumily, 75km away from Kottayam Peerumedu is famous for Coffee and Tea estates.
Parunthumpara, a recently developed tourist place is very near to Peerumedu.
Vagamon : Another hill station located in Kottayam-Idukki district at an altitude of 1100m Vagamon surrounded by lush green tea estates, valleys and green meadows. Vagamon is 150km away from Kochi and 60km from Kottayam. Kurisumala, Murugan Hill and Thangal Hill are 3 hills in Vagamon connected with 3 different religions.
Nelliyampathy : A hill station near Palakkad. The Pothundy Dam is a picturesque locale and highest peak in Nellyampathy is Nellikota or Padagiri. he Nelliyampathy hills consist of a chain of ridges cut off from one another by dense evergreen forests, valleys and orange plantations. Pothundi Reservoir, Seethakundu are other attractions.
